Again, in my opinion, Google Translate is No.1 in English to Russian and English to Ukrainian automatic translation. It is my opinion, as a professional translator and a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian, that Google Translate, Bing Translator, and Babel Fish are definitely better that Pragma and PROMT. There are competitors that outperform the abovementioned free automatic translators when it comes to the quality of translations in English-Russian and English-Ukrainian language pairs. ![]() Languages supported by PROMT: Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. Mobile translator: enables to translate texts, messages or single words on mobile phones with WAP support, smartphones and pocket PCs. Dictionary references: upon completion of automatic translation, you can get additional information about any word or word-combination in the source text by clicking the "Dictionary" button Website translator: translates websites, including hyperlinks and captions to pictures Text translator: translates short texts with up to 3,000 characters including spaces (10,000 characters including spaces for registered users) It offers the following free online automatic translation services: PROMT gives good results for translations into/from Russian. The best results are achieved in translations into/from Ukrainian and Latvian. Languages supported by Pragma: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Latvian, German, French, and Kazakh. However, I have been able to paste and translate 900+ characters with spaces.
